In Focus: The Transit of Venus
Observers around the world (at least those who who were blessed with clear skies) were able to look up yesterday and view our neighboring planet Venus as it passed directly between us and the Sun. This rare event will not reoccur for another 105 years. Scientists used the six-hour transit as an opportunity to perform experiments, helping refine techniques to observe and measure distant exoplanets. Gathered here are images of yesterday’s event, seen from from orbit and from here on Earth.

Creer firmemente en que nada dura…te ayuda a hacer que las cosas acaben durando. Lo peor no es que nos mientan. Lo peor es que ya estemos acostumbrados. Estamos tan mentidos que incluso la verdad nos parece mentira. Somos carne de opinión. Y hay demasiada gente que prefiere que le piensen las cosas, que se las den mentidas, para no tenérselas que plantear. No escuchamos, ya nadie escucha. nadie repara lo que dice el otro. Estamos todos sumidos en un inmenso, solitario y ensordecedor silencio, y lo mismo da que nos digan, que nos expliquen, nos cuenten, nos avisen, nos chillen o nos susurren. Monólogos secuenciados que solo guardan breves silencios para esperar impacientemente que el otro acabe. Espabilamos gracias a morder el polvo, comernos los ”yo nunca”, aguantar unos cuantos ”ya te lo dije”. Caerse una y otra vez, para lo cual es indispensable haberse levantado en otras tantas ocasiones. De un simple y puro ”te quiero” pasas al ”te quiero mucho”, ”te quiero como no he querido antes”,”como nunca querré a nadie”.Y es que ese primer ”te quiero” se te gastó de tanto usarlo con tanta gente que al final se fue, llevándose cada uno su pedacito de verdad

Ser especial.no te hace ser distinto, te hace ser único. El legado del ser humano es ser siempre uno mismo. por eso cada uno a nuestra forma somos especiales. la vida dura muy poco…Aprende a valorar y sobretodo a atesorar cada instante que vivas de ella, pues tu vida se hara de cada uno de los intantes y recuerdos vividos. No te creas mejor que otras personas porque podrías llegar a volverte vanidoso. hay que saber escuchar a todas las personas, incluso aquellas de las que creamos que nunca podremos aprender nada, incluso el aburrido y el necio tienen su historia.
